UCA-NI Community Pharmacy Management Programme for FTY26-27

UCA-NI can support you and your Foundation Trainee with a Community Pharmacy Management Programme tailored specifically for Community Pharmacy requirements.

The UCA-NI programme is practical, informative and complementary to the NICPLD programme.

Trainees are invited to an Introductory Session (1 hour via Teams) to welcoe them to Community Pharmacy and to the programme. The main training will be delivered through 2 in-person days at a Belfast location plus a Vaccination Training session delivered in your choice of either Belfast or Limavady. In addition, your trainee will receive some recorded presentations to view at their own pace.

The programme will be delivered within the 6-month Community placement period and will be run twice annually.  Complete the form below to register your trainee or email for more details.

ACCESSNI ENHANCED CHECK REQUIRED FOR FOUNDATION TRAINEES

Under the FTY Framework for 2627, employers are required to apply for an AccessNI Enhanced Disclosure Certificate. UCA-NI is an Umbrella Body, able to assist pharmacies who require it (orgs with less than 20 AccessNI applications per year must use an Umbrella Body). The fee charged by UCA-NI will include the AccessNI Certificate Fee. The UCA admin fee will be covered for those Trainees enrolled on the UCA-NI programme.

Foundation Trainee Portal

Trainees enrolled on the UCA-NI Community Pharmacy Management Programme will be given a User Login to view and download presentation and materials relating to the programme.
